About our seed company

A short word about us. MishoBonsai.com was created by Patrick Desnoyers with the objective of providing bonsai enthusiasts with the hard to find seeds they need and at good price. MishoBonsai is a reseller of seeds from varying sources. Many seeds come from many countries. Those countries, to name a few, are the United States, China, Lebanon, Italy, Portugal etc. We are equiped with a dedicated temperature controlled storage facility.

Now for a short word on Patrick Desnoyers, well, eh ME! I have been a bonsai enthusiast for many years, even though I am only 27 years of age. I started practicing horticulture at home and soon developed a passion for bonsai when I visited the Montreal Botanical Garden. Bonsai for me is more than an hobby, it’s a way of life. I live with bonsai everyday, with books, visits to the greenhouse, club meetings, caring for trees etc.

However, I also have another passion which is law. I obtained my Quebec Civil Law Licence from the University of Ottawa, and a master in notarial studies at the University of Montreal. After my 32 weeks articling period, I have been sworned in as a notary and im a member of the Chambres des notaires du Québec. It is with pride that I achieve this, and im very happy about it.
