We found the need to explain the purposes of our seed
catalog and we will detailed what we have to offer.
Our seed catalog is
composed of tree seeds. While we have received request to sell various types of
seeds, like cacti, palms and hot pepper, we have decided to focus our energy on
finding quality and specific tree seeds.
Our focus is distribute seeds of
species prefered by bonsai enthusiast. As explained in our
Bonsai Seeds page, bonsai seeds dont exist. Only tree seeds
exist and bonsai are produce with proper training of a tree. Searching for the
prefered species is a difficult task. Many suppliers are selling the popular
species, or the easiest species to harvest and conserve. Bonsai originated in
Asia, China in particulary, but was more promote as a Japanese art form. This
means, that species native to these region are the most praqised for bonsai.
Nonetheless, many native species of diufferent region of the world are proper to
bonsai training. With that being said, let me explain our seed
catalogs.
We have
separated our catalog in four main sections. Firstly, is a section with
regular packet of seeds which contains approximativly 30 seeds. Our second section is is the specialty sections with various size
seed packets. The third section is the mix package section. The last
and fourth section is the bulk section which contains seed packet with 150-300
seeds.
The first section of regular packet, is also subdivided in three
sections, which are:
- Deciduous / Brodleaf tree
- Evergreen Tree
- Tropical Tree
Species are listed alphabetically
in those sub-sections.
The second section of specialty seeds, is the
section we are the most proud of. The seeds contained in this section, are
seeds, which are very rare, and offer the maximum of potential for bonsai
enthusiast.
While this is what we offer, you are always welcome to submit
an inquiry for special order. Our many suppliers do carry alot of species all
combined.
The third section is a vey good choice for many of our
customers. It offers popular species of tree seeds in group, at discounted
price. This section contains regular and bulk packets of tree seeds.
The
last and fourth section is the bulk section. Here we have listed all our
tree seeds in alphabetical order and in larger packet at discounted price. This
section is used by many, from simple gardener to propagators.
