Olea Europa - Common European Olive

The most popular olive of all for bonsai enthusiast. This specie is prefered for it's historical and mythical origin. It also offers some bright green leaves on top and of silverish color underneath. It produce some small withe to yellowish flowers, followed by a small black fruit in late summer. Trunks devellop in a stone like pattern when getting older. This is one of the prefered specie in hotter climate.
