 Spring is here...too early for us  We got back safely from our vacations. We would like to thank you all for your business and your patience as delivery is delayed when we take vacations. We got plenty of orders to fill when we got back and we believe having shipped them in a timely manner. Spring is here, but too early. Many of the flowering trees have allready flowered and are losing petals allready. I estimate that we are at least 2 weeks prior regular flowering schedule at this time of the year. This year, I didnt lose any trees from the cold winter. Allright maybe one, but I think im out of luck with some trident maple, as this seems to be the specie that doesnt tolerate our winter. I will need to find a better way to protect them, or just forget about growing these. The Amur maple (Acer ginnala) would be a good alternative, as it is a trilobed maple leaf, but the biggest advantage is that it is very cold hardy.
