 Still winter but Spring Ahead  It is still winter up here in Canada, and most of the north american continent. We have snow but not alot. This winter season as been pretty mild which is good for our little bonsai tree that need protection from the cold. Constant cold weather is not as bad as high and low temperature making the tree freeze and unfreeze then freeze again. This is fatal to roots whos wter supply will probably break the root outerlayer and make them burst. Sad but true. The team at Mishobonsai.com would like to wish all of you a great 2010 year. May all your project come true with success and joy. Im looking forward to spring, as I have a few japanese maple seeds in the fridge right now, making their cold stratification tour, so they can be re4ady for germination next spring. But it is still time to start some seeds in the fridge if you havent done so. I know i will sow some japanese pine also, like every year. Probably some zelkova serrata also. Thats it for now.
