by MishoBonsai.com | post a comment

Carpinus Japonica SeedsAs of every fall, some new tree seeds are coming in from new crop of the year. As of now, we have received three new crop, which includes also a new specie we were not carrying in our seed catalog before. These new tree seeds are:

Acer palmatum matsumurae
Acer palmatum "Large Seeds"
Carpinus Japonica

The carpinus Japonica, or Japanese Hornbeam seeds are the new addition to our catalog. It was a special request and finally we found a reliable source for them.

Be sure to expect more tree seeds coming in as we currently have other orders in transit and some in the process of being inspected for importation.

If you have special request for tree seeds, do not hesitate to ask us and we will do our best to find of these sought after seeds in a timely manner.

If you are looking for informations related to seeds, I just found that website devoted to Seed Biology. I have not yet read all the content but seen some amazing work. Have a look, especially on the dormancy section, which explains why some tree seeds are so hard to germinate.
