As winter may come soon to an end for some of you south people, here in Canada, we are getting more snow then ever in the last few days. While snow is beautiful and im anxious to see some green in trees and lawn and rediscover my bonsai trees

January was a good month at mishobonsai and everyone made their provisions for next growing season. Ift not, then dont waste any time. We got some new stock in:

• Japanese White Pine - Pinus Parviflora
• Japanese black pine - Pinus Thunbergiana
• Chinese Juniper - Juniperus Chinensis
• Japanese maple - Acer Palmatum
• stewartia monadelpha - Tall Stewartia
• Zelokva Serrata - Japanese grey bark elm

We also have a fun thing in stock. While they are not bonsai trees seeds, the catnip seeds are fun to grow, especially if you have a cat. This herb will cause a temporary euphoric state to your cat. And if you dont have a cat, these catnip seeds are from the "nepata cataria" plant which is a plant in the mint plant family. This makes some great herbal tea and will be great especially for french cuisine. It as been used for man years by great french chef. And if this was not enough, catnip or catmint is said to be more powerful then DEET to repell insect and it is all natural.
