Trident maple Seedlings

cumcumber from seeds
Lately, I have been more of a gardener then a bonsaiist. We have watch our garden germinate and grow. Because of the abondant rain, we had to resow beans and carrots as the seeds had rotted from too much rain/water.

As for the other vegetables, the tomatoes are growing very well.We have planted 4 different species for the connaisseur. We will make some degustation of the tomatoes later in the season. The cumcumber, of pickle size and of pickling variety, are coming very well. A good side of all that rain is that the cucumber have avoided the striped cucumber beetle which means healthier plants and cucumber down the road.

My peppers plants are also growing very well. They are about 5 inch high as I write this.

On the tree side of things, I have replanted 18 trident maple seedlings in bigger and individual pots. Those seedlings had germinated last year. I have a project for them. I want to produce a "forest" type of bonsai.
