Japanese Black pine
While the hard repotting season is finish, we can now lay back and enjoy our bonsai plants for a seconds. But, growth is still active, and those plants of ours need to be maintain in a prisitne condition.

I also garden. This year I dont have alot vegetable, only pickle cucumbers and a few plants of tomatoes. I did try something new this year, being herbs. I love to cook and these freshly grown plants will be just the right touch to a perfect meal with friends and family.

Bonsai and seed wise, I have around twenty seedlings of Trident maple laying in a tray. Ill let them grow the full year and will be transplanting them next spring. My short needles japanese black pine and japanese white pine are thriving and in perfect condition. Ill have to take some pictures to show the difference between the regular japanese black pine and the short needles one, very impressive.

Take care of your bonsai plants and enjoy the summer.
