Flowering season is in full mode right now. Prunus, malus are just beautifull.

I had to try the small leaves trident maple seeds. Im not too late in the season, here in the Canada we are still experiencing some near frost night. What worries me a bit , is that I only had near a month of cold stratification for these maple tree seeds. Usually it's 60-90 days at a minimum. Anyhow, lets see how it turn out later in the season.

Im anxious to the bonsai growing season. Last winter, it was my first winter with a styrofoam box, plus the straw. I must say im impress since I didnt loose one tree to the cold. The lat two previous year were a disaster, loosing a totla of six tree's to frost. Even the seedlings from last year all survive. My short needles japanese black pine and my japanese white pines are floroushing this season. Zelkova's and celtis are also taking all the sun they can get.
