Fall is here

by MishoBonsai.com | post a comment

bonsai seedsAs the summer bonsai growing season comes to an end, we can admire the gorgeous fall colour of many tree's. My american larches, Larix Laricina, are turning yellow, and needles are starting to drop. Meanwhile, in Australia and south America, growing season is beginning.

Personnally, I like winter, as it is also a period of rest for me. Much like tree's, I need to rejuvenate. Winter is a time of reading and web surfing. I started preparing my next season of seed growing. Early february will be time to startify the needed seeds for mid-may sowing. One prospect is the short needles japanese black pine wich you can find in the specialty section. Cant wait.

I wish you a very good fall and winter.

Store wise, we have a new order of Japanese red maple coming in, plus some more goodies, like Carpinus Koreana, which I only heard good feedback from.

Regards,
Patrick
