A very fast grower that adpat well to bonsai. Crabapple are known to be a good candidate in colder climate area. This species produce small 20mm white flowers in spring and grow bright red fruit in autumn. Sargentii is also the smallest leaves species of Malus/Crabapple wich is ideal for bonsai.
