Juniperus Chinensis - Chinese Juniper

One of the favorite between bonsai enthusiast, this specie makes very elegant bonsai. It's awl like needle on young tree's, become a scale like foliage on mature tree's. The bark is a pale brown color and develop ridges and furrows as the tree mature. It is nice to see the bark to peel in thin strip. These are the seeds of the famous Shimpaku bonsai.

Hardy to USDA zone 4 to 9.
