Like other Ilex species it produce red fruits, but this specific genus produce smaller fruit then others. It produce white to pinkish flowers. It's leaves are finely toothed and of a dark green color. A beautiful show in winter after leaves have dropped but fruit have stayed on and mix nicely with snow.
