Cydonia sinensis - Chinese Quince

This is a specie native to the south west region of Asia. This is a nice fruit and flowers bonsai specie. The bowl shape flowers will appear in early spring and will be in a pink and white shade. It will produce a nice and round edible yellow fruit. The growth rate is slow to moderate. The leaves are green in summer and red or yellow in fall. This tree also as a flaking gray green to brown bark.
