As all other cotoneaster, this is a fast rate growing tree. Cotoneaster are often used for doing small bonsai refer to as Shohin. But, what separate this species of cotoneaster from others, it's because it got the smallest leaves of all cotoneaster, making it a perfect candidate for smaller sized shohin. Green shinny leaves are attractive stays on all year and share the beauty with the pink flowers and small red fruit it can produce.
