The leaves turn to yellow in fall which makes it a beautiful display in your bonsai collection. The bark is a corky greyish bark. It is a fast pace growing tree native to eastern USA. It produces a red-orange fruit that is ripe in october. The fruit is edible and as a date like flavor.
