The koto-no-ito japanese maple is a distinctive green japanese maple with very dissected leaves that display beautiful yellow-orange and red colors in fall. One of the very few green and dissected cultivar, these seeds were collected from a Parent tree which is true to the species and cultivar of koto-no-ito. It will tolerate sun and heat of the southern region if protected with a little shade in the hottest days of summer.
