Acer Palmatum - Green leaves Japanese maple.
This specie has a nice red color of foliage in fall while maintaining green leaves in the summer.
The seeds of this specie are commonly use in bonsai and they make beautiful bonsai subject. The specie is also also use as rootstock for grafting by many Japanese maple producer.
The small japanese maple seeds and seedlings will produce less variation in the output color of the leaves and shape. They produce a fairly uniform seeling.
Hardy to USDA zone 5 to 8.
